We all know something or the other about stress, stress is a part of our mental pressure, which has a negative effect on our mind and can cause various kinds of disruptions in our physical and mental health. 

We may not even know the harm that stress causes to us or we may not have much idea about its severity. However, the severity of not knowing about it is much greater. Because if we do not know about the benefits or harms of something, it can be very difficult to stop ourselves from it or protect ourselves from it. So first of all, we need to understand and know about the harmful aspects of stress. 

Now let’s know what are the harmful aspects of stress? 

Stress has a risky effect on mental health, which makes people’s personal lives more threatening and can harm their physical and mental health. 

 Some points and information about how it can harm are highlighted below in the form of points – 

1. Stress causes damage both physically and mentally, one of the most harmful aspects of physical damage is the risk of heart disease. The pressure that excessive stress puts on a person increases the person’s heart rate and as a result, accidents like stroke can sometimes occur. Sometimes, heart block can also occur due to its oxidation. 

2. Excess stress mainly comes from anxiety and as a result, excessive pressure is put on the brain, resulting in increased headaches, high blood pressure and even dangerous migraines. 

3. Excess stress also affects the physical structure. For example, excessive stress or anxiety, which disrupts people’s sleep, can cause headaches, eye problems, and even muscle problems and irregular restlessness, which can cause problems like increasing and decreasing people’s appetite. 

 4. Many times it is seen that excessive stress or anxiety causes digestive problems, excessive worry which reduces the digestive power, and increases stomach problems, as a result of which the person has to suffer from physical pain. This is mainly due to the increase in the level of stress to a great extent. 

5. This stress is also the reason for sleep disturbance. Many of us understand or can feel that excessive worry is the effect of stress which disrupts our sleep, which results in insomnia problems for a long time. Therefore, this is also one of the harmful aspects of stress. 

In addition, there are many other harmful problems that occur due to stress. Stress causes damage to people from both physical and mental aspects, as a result of which their personal life becomes abnormal and unhealthy. 

Now let’s discuss how to relieve stress. 

Of course, we have to find a solution to our problem. Stress has been faced by everyone in their personal life more or less.  But do we even think about why stress occurs?! Maybe not, but to find a solution to the problem, we first need to know what the main cause of the problem is

So now let’s know what the main causes of stress are? 

1. Family turmoil: – Stress comes from various problems in personal life. However, problems can arise in many ways, one of which is family problems, many times various pressures from the family which our family gives us without their knowledge or worries about family problems also arise naturally. For all these reasons, stress comes later. 

2. Financial problems: – This has become a major and major cause of stress in the present time, many of us have financial problems from time to time but it is not possible to disclose all the problems to everyone, as a result, it affects some kind of mental stress inside. Stress is created from that mental stress. Therefore, it is considered as the main cause of stress. 

3. Relationship tension: – One of the main reasons for stress is the creation of relationship problems.  When relationships put us in a state of tension, depression and anxiety work inside and as a result, problems like stress arise. 

4. Job-related problems: – Many times the effect of stress arises due to the job. The reason for this is excessive work pressure, fear of listening to the boss’s words and words, or not maintaining good relations with colleagues, we have to face various problems. This also causes stress. 

5. Future anxiety: – Many times we notice that we are very worried about the future, we are immersed in the thoughts of what will happen in the future and what we will be able to do. And this, the effect of excessive thinking and thinking creates stress. Due to which more mental stress is created and as a result, life becomes difficult. 

There can be many more reasons behind the creation of stress.  Sometimes it can happen due to personal reasons. So to get a solution to the problem, we must first find out the cause of the problem, so that the solution will become easier.

Now let’s learn about how to relieve stress. 

First, I mentioned that to relieve stress, first of all, you need to know the cause of the problem, that is, the reason for stress. And if you know the reason, the solution to the problem will become easier. 

Some common techniques for stress relief are mentioned – 

1. Doing yoga: – Yoga is very effective in stress relief, as a result of doing yoga, the level of stress decreases, the mind stays good and the excess thoughts and pressure on the brain decreases. 

2. Practicing breathing: – By practicing deep breathing, this process helps to keep the heart healthy as well as the mind healthy. This reduces mental stress and stress. 

3. Giving time to yourself: – We neglect ourselves the most in our busy lives. While thinking about life and the future, we forget our present, and this excess pressure, worry and neglect creates mental stress and stress.  So to deal with it, you must give yourself time, love yourself, and take care of yourself. This will reduce mental stress a lot.

4. Regular meditation: Meditation can be said to be a very effective technique for physical and mental well-being. Regular meditation for 20-30 minutes removes negative thoughts from the human body, which also helps reduce stress levels. 

5. Compensating for sleep deprivation: One of the many reasons for stress is sleep disruption. Therefore, getting enough sleep gives the brain adequate rest and when the sleep deficit is met, the stress level also decreases. 

6. Avoiding all electronic devices: In today’s time, we have become more addicted to electronic devices. Which not only harms us physically, but also causes mental harm.  One of the reasons for stress is the decrease in the amount of rest the brain receives, and when it is always active, mental stress is created and the level of stress also increases. 

Therefore, to reduce stress, we should refrain from electronic devices. 

7. Fulfilling our hobbies: – Fulfilling our interests and hobbies makes us feel good, which also reduces mental stress and stress, and therefore, to reduce stress, we should occasionally fulfill our hobbies. 

There can be many other ways to reduce stress.
